The Huntress and Holder of Hands wsg A.S. Coomer live at Culture Clash

Join us on Saturday, September 23rd at 6pm for The Huntress and Holder of Hands, supported by A.S. Coomer.

Hailing from Warren, Rhode Island, The Huntress and Holder of Hands are a five-piece indie/folk-rock act not easily confined to genre. From their Bandcamp page: "As 5-piece band, The Huntress and Holder of Hands builds harmony, string and bass-driven pieces influenced by Post-Metal, Blues and Americana, offering an intense musical experience that explores love, loss, power and strength." Head over to their Facebook page to check out their music and learn more about the band. We are super excited to be part of their current fall tour as they prepare for the release of their upcoming album, Avalon. Fans of Sufjan Stevens, The Decemberists, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Hiss Golden Messenger, Jesu, and Russian Circles alike will find plenty to love here.

Originally a native of Kentucky, A.S. (Drew) Coomer has built his reputation in Toledo through his magnetic live performances, evocative lyricism, and intimate songwriting and recordings. A published author as well, Drew has written two books along with many works of poetry and storytelling. Check out his website for more on his writings, and listen to his recent EP, From a Living Room on Larchmont, over at his Bandcamp page.

Music will start at 6pm, and as always the show is FREE, if you want to unwind then BYOB, and DONATIONS are SUGGESTED so that we can support these awesome acts coming to Culture Clash!
